74% of children in Tanzania are affected by multidimensional poverty. Mothers have an average of 5-10
kids in the poorest villages. Because of this birth rate, 44% of the population is under 15 years old. These
rates leave many children orphaned, without the healthcare, education or positive support they need to
escape the cycle.
In Tanzania, many children face significant challenges due to the loss of parents, poverty, family
instability, and limited access to basic services. These hardships often prevent access to essential
resources like education, healthcare, and proper nutrition, while children with disabilities experience
further exclusion from community support and services.
We are intensely committed to providing comprehensive care and support to the most vulnerable
members of our society – orphans and vulnerable children (OVC).
Our support to orphans and vulnerable children goes beyond meeting their immediate needs. We take a
holistic approach that addresses their physical, emotional, educational, and psychosocial well-being.
This approach encompasses a range of services, including access to education, nutritional support,
healthcare, counseling, and recreational activities, to create a nurturing environment that fosters
growth and development.
Hope Children Support Organization aims to establish a nurturing permanent home for children who
have lost their parents or cannot live with them until adulthood. The organization conducts needs
assessments, acquires suitable infrastructure, and recruits and trains caregivers to create a stable and
supportive environment. Regular monitoring and evaluation ensure the well-being and progress of the
children in their care.
Hope Children’s Support Organization offers educational opportunities to children under its care, aiming
to provide stability and a path for growth. The organization is committed to offering formal education,
and the plan likely includes initiatives to support the educational needs of the children. Educational
